Privacy
Plain-language summary of how this build handles data. It is a draft for review by Gembomart Tradelink's legal adviser and is not the final privacy policy.
What we hold
- Your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your mobile number if you add one.
- Enquiries, messages, quotations, appointments, saved items, reviews and help requests you create.
- For businesses: the profile, listings, photographs and notes you enter. Photographs lose camera location data before upload.
- Notifications, and a security log of sign-ins and admin actions.
Why
Only to run the service: to show listings, let businesses and customers talk to each other, keep accounts safe and answer help requests. We do not sell your data. This build has no advertising or analytics trackers.
Who else sees it
- A business sees the name, enquiry text and phone number you choose to send it. Its private notes are never shown to you.
- Our staff can see accounts and enquiries when handling moderation or help requests.
- Providers that deliver messages for us (email, SMS, WhatsApp) receive only what is needed to deliver them, and only once the business or platform has switched them on.
How long
- Notifications: read ones 6 months, unread ones 1 year.
- Email delivery records: 90 days. Webhook records: 90 days.
- Security log: 2 years.
- Enquiries and listings stay while the business account exists.
Your choices
In Profile, open Account, privacy & security to download your data, change your password, control email notifications or close your account. Closing removes your name, email and phone number; enquiries you sent stay with the business, without your details.
